These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Honest Water NC website at honestwaternc.com and any services provided by Honest Water NC, an authorized Honest Water Co franchise operating in the Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill Triangle area of North Carolina.

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

1. Services

Honest Water NC provides residential water treatment services in the greater Raleigh, NC area, including but not limited to:

• Whole house water filtration system installation
• Water softener installation and service
• Reverse osmosis drinking water systems
• Well water treatment and iron/sulfur removal
• Free in-home water quality testing
• Filter replacement and maintenance

All services are subject to a separate written service agreement provided at the time of installation. These Terms govern website use and general engagement; the service agreement governs the specific installation transaction.

2. Free Water Testing

Our complimentary in-home water test is provided at no charge and with no obligation to purchase. A certified technician will test your water and present results and recommendations. You are under no obligation to proceed with any purchase.

Water test results are informational and based on conditions at the time of testing. Results may vary and are not a substitute for a certified laboratory analysis if required for regulatory or legal purposes.

3. Pricing & Quotes

Prices displayed on our website are starting prices and may vary based on your home's specific requirements, plumbing configuration, and chosen system. Final pricing is provided in writing before any installation begins.

Price Match Policy: We will match any competitor's written quote for an identical, NSF-certified system installed under the same terms. Price match requests must be submitted in writing before installation.

Promotional prices and discounts are subject to change without notice and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

4. Warranty

All systems installed by Honest Water NC are backed by a 5-year warranty covering manufacturer defects in tanks, valves, electronics, and system components, plus 1 year of labor coverage. Specific warranty terms are detailed in your installation agreement.

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications
• Normal wear and consumable items (filter media, salt, pre-filter cartridges)
• Damage caused by water supply conditions outside normal operating parameters
• Acts of God, flooding, or structural damage

To make a warranty claim, contact us at hello@honestwaternc.com. We will respond within 1 business day and dispatch a technician as promptly as possible.

5. Cancellations & Appointments

You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment at any time by contacting us. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice where possible so we can offer your time slot to another customer.

Cancellation of a confirmed installation order after equipment has been ordered or delivered may be subject to a restocking fee as detailed in your service agreement.

6. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
• Submit false or misleading information through any form
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the website
• Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit website content without written permission
